We are thrilled to announce that The Rookery Woods has been selected as a finalist for the inaugural Visit Herefordshire Tourism Awards! This prestigious recognition celebrates the best of Herefordshire’s thriving tourism sector, and we are honoured to be among the 62 exceptional businesses shortlisted.

The Visit Herefordshire Tourism Awards aim to highlight the innovation, dedication, and excellence of local tourism providers. As a finalist, The Rookery Woods is now one step closer to receiving regional accolades and being automatically shortlisted for the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence. This gives us an incredible opportunity to be recognised among the country’s finest!

The next stage of the awards involves independent industry professionals conducting site visits and assessments to determine the winners and highly commended finalists in each category. We are eagerly looking forward to showcasing our unique offerings and the exceptional experiences we provide to our visitors.

The winners will be unveiled at the inaugural Awards Evening, to be held in February 2025. This event promises to be a landmark celebration of Herefordshire’s tourism community, bringing together local businesses, industry leaders, and tourism professionals for a night of recognition and celebration.

Diane Mansell, CEO of Herefordshire County BID/Visit Herefordshire, commented: “We are incredibly excited to reveal the shortlist for the inaugural Visit Herefordshire Tourism Awards. The quality and diversity of the businesses represented is a testament to the strength of Herefordshire’s tourism sector. This year’s awards have drawn a fantastic response, and we look forward to celebrating the region’s best with the local tourism community in February 2025.”

We are proud to be part of this vibrant community and to contribute to the rich tapestry of Herefordshire’s tourism landscape. Stay tuned for more updates as we progress through the awards journey!
